1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Xnapture Chrome extension or visiting xnapture.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Xnapture is a browser extension that allows users to capture, edit, and export screenshots with custom backgrounds and styling effects. A free tier is available to all users. A Pro tier with additional features is available via a one-time purchase.

3. Pro License

Upon purchasing a Pro license, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Xnapture Pro features.

  • · The Pro license is tied to your email address and can be used on multiple devices you personally own
  • · The license is for personal or commercial use by a single individual
  • · You may not resell, sublicense, or share your Pro access with others
  • · The one-time payment grants lifetime access to the features available at time of purchase, plus future feature updates at our discretion

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If you are unsatisfied with your Pro purchase for any reason, contact us at support@xnapture.com within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. After 30 days, all purchases are final.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Xnapture to:

  • ·Capture, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted content without authorization
  • ·Capture sensitive personal information of others without their consent
  • ·Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • ·Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service
  • ·Use the Service to harm, deceive, or defraud others

6. Intellectual Property

The Xnapture name, logo, and website design are owned by Xnapture. The extension source code is open-source under the MIT license (see GitHub). Content you create using Xnapture (your screenshots) remains entirely yours.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Xnapture is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any bugs will be fixed within a specific timeframe. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xnapture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for a Pro license.

9. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. In the event of discontinuation, Pro license holders will be notified in advance and offered a prorated refund where applicable.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify Pro users of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
